NATIONAL INDIGENOUS PEOPLES DAY 2024

In anticipation of National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, we welcomed the James Gang Drummers from the Aseniwuche Winewak Nation (AWN). Their performance celebrated and commemorated their story shared with us in a beautiful space. Each year, National Indigenous Peoples Day marks an occasion to reconnect with the land and to participate in traditional activities that honour and celebrate it.

AWN has been a proud Indigenous partner with CDN since 2020—and is one of six formal Indigenous partnerships we’re proud to steward as part of our commitment to Indigenous economic reconciliation.
