ARC RESOURCES WELLPAD CONSTRUCTION & PREWIRE PROGRAM

Electrical and instrumentation (E&I) construction services were provided for multi-well pad developments in Northeast British Columbia, including well pad tie-ins and modular package fabrication. The scope included hazardous-area electrical installation, instrumentation and controls, PLC building integration, power and fiber optic connections, process and flare instrumentation, heat trace systems, grounding and bonding, QA/QC, and commissioning support. Additional shop-based module pre-wiring and CSA-certified assembly enabled efficient deployment of standardized oil and gas infrastructure across multiple project locations.

ENBRIDGE ASPEN POINT COMPRESSOR STATION

Electrical and instrumentation (E&I) construction services were provided for a new greenfield electric motor-driven (EMD) compressor station featuring two 2,500 HP centrifugal compressors with variable frequency drives (VFDs). The scope included electrical, instrumentation, cabling, and tubing installation supporting compressor packages, gas processing systems, instrument air, lube oil, backup power generation, and associated plant infrastructure. Executed on a major pipeline project, the work demonstrated the ability to deliver complex industrial energy infrastructure safely, efficiently, and at scale under demanding schedules.

ENTROPY CARBON CAPTURE & STORAGE EXPANSION

CDN delivered electrical and instrumentation (E&I) construction services to integrate carbon capture and storage (CCS) infrastructure into an operating gas processing facility. The scope included electrical construction, instrumentation and controls, high-voltage and fiber optic installation, process control system integration, testing, commissioning, and turnover. Executed in a live brownfield environment, the project supported industrial decarbonization through the successful integration of critical carbon capture infrastructure.

GIBSON MOOSE JAW REFINERY ELECTRICAL MODERNIZATION PROJECT

Electrical construction services were provided as part of a full modernization of the Moose Jaw Refinery’s power distribution infrastructure. The scope included installation of a new medium-voltage (4160V) E-House, low-voltage switchgear and motor control centers (MCCs), upgraded 4160V distribution systems, substation replacement, site-wide cable tray installation, structural modifications, and demolition of legacy infrastructure. This complex brownfield project enhanced electrical reliability, operational efficiency, and long-term performance of critical refinery systems.

NORTH RIVER MIDSTREAM MCMAHON EXPANSION

Electrical and instrumentation (E&I) construction services were provided within a live operating gas plant, supporting facility expansion and process upgrades across gas treating, compressor, utility, and truck-out systems. The scope included electrical construction, instrumentation and controls, MCC and VFD integration, power distribution, gas detection systems, testing, commissioning, and brownfield tie-ins. Executed under active operating conditions, the project required phased commissioning, rigorous safety controls, and seamless integration with existing plant infrastructure.

PCL NSPI BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM

Electrical and instrumentation construction services were provided for the Whiterock Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), a 50 MW / 200 MWh utility-scale energy storage facility. The scope included installation and integration of battery containers, PCS inverter systems, 34.5 kV medium-voltage collector systems, 1500V DC infrastructure, power distribution, SCADA, fiber optic communications, grounding, and protection systems. The project also included testing and commissioning of AC, DC, and control systems, enabling reliable grid integration and large-scale energy storage capacity.
