EMERGING LEADERS PROGRAM
CDN EMERGING
LEADERS PROGRAM
We are committed to an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) program that is industry-setting.
Delivering this mandate means being responsive to both the emerging and sustained barriers — and building capacity — in Indigenous communities.
CDN’s Emerging Leaders Program delivers tangible training to Indigenous participants to increase quality educational opportunities, develop meaningful work experience, and gain skills to support a broad extent of career opportunities — and to do so by removing barriers like pre-requisite requirements, a high school diploma, or extensive time commitments.
Focusing on two fundamental streams in communications and leadership, Indigenous participants develop skill sets that teach them foundational skills to help grow their careers, especially those seeking supervisory and leadership roles.
What makes this program industry-setting is the engagement of our learning partner, SAIT, and the Indigenous communities in the creation of the course curriculum. Today’s program is developed from an Indigenous worldview. Graduates receive a SAIT-issued certificate of completion — a tangible asset to help in their job search and future career aspirations.
